From their previous announcements they stated 2000 tonne (t) were excavated, of that 510t were sent to Sino and Noble, and from that 510t the Mn came in the 50% range.

So, 12.5% of the 2000t excavated earth was Saleable Mn.

250,000t saleable Mn means they need to dig 2,000,000t of earth/ore does it not? Then blend and grade it, tidy up the waste... 1,750,000 spoil doesn't just level itself.

Now 2,000,000t means digging at a rate of 3.8t every minute of every day for the year. I think the density is ~7t/m3, 3.8t is no problem in the big buckets on modern equipment but not for the stuff KAB are (not) able to afford.

I admit this is a pretty simplistic breakdown but just scratching on the practical side of things as an aside to the who's funding/loaning/shuffling money debate. It doesn't take in to account things like working hours, holidays, breakdowns...strike action...(TIA remember).

And you say they have THREE projects, each aiming for 250,000t per annum RB?
