Sexism is prejudice based on gender - both men and omen can be sexist

Mysogeny is hatred of women.It's gender equicalent is Mysandry or hatred of men.


I have no doubt that there are men who are mysogenists although critiising a woman does not make you an automatic candidate.

I also have no doubt that there are women who are mysandryst. The blame game which goes on under the title of "Gender Studies" is witness to that.

I have no quarrel with women who want to achieve their full potential.

But why put down women who want a family life, or carp on about about men's easier path to the top with the support of their wives?

Abbot has his evident faults, but IMO, PM Gillard is a sexist and mysandryst.

As the saying goes "power corrupts, and total power ends in total corruption of values"
