has been clarified regarding the Grafex license applications.

would it be fair to say that the heavy marketing campaign by SYR
in Moz could have some negative implications in obtaining
licenses. Afterall TON is a newbie in graphite and moz.

would it have helped with new time lines... ? probably not but it would
have cleared some concerns and speculations and the silence almost
always have sp trail downwards.

in effect what goes on behind TON and Grafex is where the hold
up is and TON is probably not aware of the exact reason because
its beyond their control hence the reason why the announcements
has been toned down.
