A big chunk of IVC's income is derived from money they hold for pre paid funerals which they invest into the stockmarket and other areas.

Last year they clocked up some mighty profits from this money. From memory they are holding about 200M for pre paid funerals which they invested to produce 34M in profit...very tidy. The bottom line is IVC make far more money from investing than funerals.
