Your calculation off wiki doesn't take into account the high levels of co2 being pumped into the algae, which is the real deal breaker in terms of growth. The sunlight is collected from solar arrays and piped into the containers, so don't see how stacking affects that? Unles I'm wrong on that regard.
Keep in mind that algae doubles in biomass every day or something absurd. These forums aren't meant for your homework and research, do it yourself and then bring an informed decision, not taking stabs at random facts from wiki.
