I reckon all of us on the cpl posting board could gave put this together....if you go back through the posts by various people, we all knew how to reduce the capex .

Why did it take so long to come to this conclusion!!!! I would say the funding partner is having significant say in how the money is to be spent.


This statement concerns me:

"Development capital expected to be funded either by a strategic partner or a combination of a strategic partner and an off-take arrangement"

Well which is it???? Seems we are not very close to a solution..

I still maintain you can't start construction without the cash, and u need to have the cash well before the start of construction. They are still strong on construction start of June, so funding needs to be sorted by December..

No epcm will book the resource to a project unless it knows when the start date is, and normally you need this done well in advance.....

I hope we get an announcement next week on the funding!!!!
