Against that backdrop, and maybe the US biting the bullet and introducing a watered down and token carbon tax of their own, King Canute Abbott, denial master of the obvious is going to start looking like a stupid option.

Look around the world. Things are not really that bad in Oz. And you don't get voted onto the UN Security Council if you are viewed internationally as a balanced country that is slowly maturing and moving forward.

Malcolm looks, talks and acts like a leader that fits with that global image. Australian born, smart and has a selfless forward-thinking vision of the future for the this great country.
