The failed talks also got a quick mention on the Insiders on Sunday.
Seems that the issue is really coming to a head. There is clearly a strong push from the local towns for the mining approval to be given. For me this is key in the argument.
You'd have to think that at some stage the government will realise that the risk to them is to not grant the approval before the election.
