Given that they r testing both sections separately, in my view we could b eyeing separate reservoirs with different HC properties (given that the lower horizon is sealed off by a thk'r shaly unit).
We dont know yet, if its a Plvr double play (ie PLvr A & B sandy unit) or a Younger sand + 1 Plvr sand.
The later scenario could mean different CGR, CO2%, water cut, porosity, pressure gradient etc. Will just have to wait & see what they can flow.
Last year PTTEP Cash-2 flw'd 58 mmcfd + 1500 bcpd (frm 2 separate intvl's, ie 30 & 28 MMcfd). Before the handover to ENI, E109 flw'd 30mmcfd frm Maple-2. So the rig's BOP has the capacity to handle the pressure regime. Time will tell how HS#1 flows. I'll b happy with 20:20 frm each horizon, assuming there's no 'skin' buildup, collapse etc.
The 'BHA Twist-off' in Indo, hmm, bit unfortunate, but that's history now. All operators have a plan-B in this sector, these days.
cheers
