Must also include a significant infrastructure figure BR; the Commerical module that will come from the DFT will be a 170k tonnes; so its cut ally a bit shy of a full module which are effectively 200k tonners.
They have mooted a ball park figure of $70m for that module; repetition aiding you could nearly apply a $70m figure per 200k tonne module there after. That's 9 entire modules at $70m, the first at $70m plus upheaval of that figure to increase capacity to 200k even add in a fat 20% contingency for shits and bits .... You would imagine the real figure to be around the 1 billion mark for the plant.
I assume when that $6 billion figure was churned out; it was pre government export excitement and probably took in total expenditure with total rehab or new build of rail and port with absolutely zero cash coming from any other direction.
With money signs in government eyes and others looking to come in a share the Victorian resource ; that one group bulky figure would split down quite considerably ... You would also imagine that it would be considerably more attractive from the eyes of Tincom or who ever
