Pints, no probs, and I agree, in hindsight selling the gold was probably a mistake. But didn't he somehow have to claw back the massive debt that the incompetent Keating left us with?

Lapdog, exactly what I expected from a Labor Lover, a one liner against Swan: "I regard Wayne Swan as a painful-to-listen to windbag" followed by a short story praising him for being treasurer through the GFC hahahahaha and slagging off our best ever treasurer simply because he wasn't on your "side".

    Sadly for you - pathetic.

    What a joke.

Imagine if Costello had, throughout his 12 years as treasurer, performed as bad as Swan has since he's been treasurer.

Imagine 10 record deficits from Costello, instead of 10 record surplusses.

I know it's hard, almost impossible in fact, but do try.

Then imagine how we would have fared through the GFC with Labor and The Goose in charge of our economy.

    Fairdinkum.
