A few things;
72m @ 2.4% Cu, 0.92g/t Au, 905ppm Cu from 129m
- Basically, the results of the drillhole intercept
So at 129m downhole depth, down to 201m (129+72=201)
that is the grade of the zone
Good practise is to drill perpendicular to the orezone so that you can define a true width.
Therefore, if this hole is drilled perfectly perpendicular to the ore zone, you're looking at a 72m wide ore zone (GREAT!!!!)
the ongoing joke in the industry is the "Director Special" drillhole, which is when you drill a along strike of the ore body. Therefore you get an intercpet of about 75% strike length @ at 15g/t - Not a true indication of the geometry of the ore body
- pretty easy to pick out because they would typically show a picture of the drillhole relative to the orebody
strike length is how long the ore zone extends. Check a geology report or a past ASX announcement for this data.
Hope this helps,
