oil burner, with respect, Australia has the best scientifically based off-shore Fisheries Managment Organisation in the world, and all regulated quotas are rigidly inspected and policed. As stated above, it's the quota that matters, not the vessel, and my understanding is that in this case the licence was primarily to catch species other fishermen were not interested in anyway. Inspectors were to be on board 24/7 to monitor the catch. Please don't believe the rubbish that certain people are spreading about this appalling example of retrospective Govdrnment legislation.
