watso is a rsg holder. it seems that there is very little interest in the rsg threads about the matter.

watso had a quick look at the nmg annual report, and a few of the announcements over the past couple of years . the annual report showed a disaster, and some of the reports over the years, were optimistic.

frankly, the deal will be worked out, between a couple of the largest shareholders (see the top 20 list - at the end of the annual report). most shareholders do not have enough skin in the stock, to be remotely bothered - and one thing for certain, is that very few people will put in more money. most nmg holders, will not even bother filling out the proxy form.

rsg certainly make a good case - they have been in africa for donkey years - from memory, the first foray, was when they took control of a company called "associated gold fields",

given the track record of some australian companies, that have taken control of old mines, then, the bibianna mine. could be a bit iffy.

watso's gut feeling is that despite the company spurning the rsg offer, the shareholders with the biggest stakes, will go along with the rsg offer
