Lespaul, personaly I don't think having a deficit is a problem when it's relativly small. Seems labor are going with idea of having a surplus because Abbott made such a big deal of it.
As for peoples way of life, I don't personal know any one who is struggling. I'm sure some people are but it has little to do with the CT and MRRT but more to do with huge power, gas and water cost increaces over recent years
