my black swan event would have to be of the unexpected :
a private individual will discover a massive gold deposit in Zimbabwe. He will disappear (or get hit by a car) a day or 2 after the govt. confiscates his newly found treasure. Zimbabwe then becomes the 1st gold backed currency on the planet.
