you are probably right BR - NRU's recent coal strick in mongolia is very high quality black stuff, not the kind of LRC exergen area after.

I wouldn't rule out Blakeman involvement somehow though...

how do you see the RFC Ambrian raising? I think you mentioned before that the ALDP rules require some evidence that full funding for the demo plant is not already in place, but that sufficient funds (with a suitable ALDP cash contribution) and performance guarantees can be put in place to meet the full costs of delivering the project?

The timing of the $100 million RFC Ambrian raising to coincide exactly with the key ALDP dates is more than just 'convenient' if this is correct.

The fact that RFC are also flagging the precise sum ($40 million) exergen expect to receive from Govt by way of co-funding is very revealing.

Either RFC Ambrian/exergen have a functioning crystal ball, or this $40 million co-fund is the amount that was negotiated in the meetings between Tata/exergen and the Vic & Fed Govt Resource Ministers (who, conveniently, have 100% control over the ALDP funding grants) that were revealed in June under these green obtained FOI docs:

    http://www.crikey.com.au/2012/06/08/how-victoria-puts-you-through-the-foi-wringer/?wpmp_switcher=mobile

RFC would not be making key statements like this in $100 million fundraising documents (that they could get sued about if false) unless they knew for a fact the claims are accurate.

Interesting times ahead for all in the BC sector it seems.
