I'm getting in touch with the actual formal entity which you all think were stupid enough that they saw fit to bestow a Rhodes Scholarship on Tony Abbott once upon a time - to let them know what they don't realise - that they've made a huge boo boo in this - that he's in actual fact (well, Labor luvvies are now panicked by their conclusion should he become PM) a complete dill, drip, and drongo.
Their selection committee must have been drunk as skunk legless THAT fateful day THEY made this decision "ludicrous" decision - (or perhaps someone else actually sat the Abbott examination - now who else from OZ was at Oxford at that time that we can pin his on?) and they must reverse and withdraw this high honor from this "disgusting misogynistic imbecile academic impostor" forthwith!
The letter could run like this - (let me know if you have any adjustments):-
"We, the outraged Labor voters of Australia, do hereby demand that your Committee and esteemed Professors do immediately withdraw this Scholarship, it's rights and honors, from this person, one Anthony Abbott, current Leader of the Opposition, Australia, a person clearly of atrocious character and zero intellectual ability.
OUR Honorable Prime Minister, Ms. Julia Gillard, whose own reputation is lily white, a woman worshipped by all for her fair-minded gracious personality, fai dealing, and complete lack of political spite and partisan bias, whose opinions can be vouched for by persons as high-ranking as, say, President Obama, who has made it known, world wide, (re. Twitter) - that it's an actual fact this foul man, Anthony Abbott, is no what he's cracked up to be by some.
Entirely unfit to be holding such a badge of scholastic honor. Everyone world wide now knows, thanks to Ms. Gillard's strenuous efforts to reveal the Abbott character truths, let them know what She knows is a fact - Australia has in him, hiding under a veneer of respectability, a hateful woman-hating ridgy didge misogynist. His wife, three daughters and sister and other family members deny this is so, but WE all know the awful truths. (He only belts them up behind closed doors. But we will "ping" him!)
In fact, from her own extensive and distinguished personal life experiences, gained mostly in her tenure as a Senior Partner of one of Melbourne's most respected and highly regarded law firms, where she was esteemed and respected, but also whilst President of the ASU and via her later tenure at the Fabian Society, have bestowed on her the rare insights of possessing the sincerity, empathy, and quick minded fairness outlooks which allow her to be a formidable and accurate judge of character; she is able to pick a true misogynist at 5 paces - (her good friend, A Mr. Peter Slipper, ex Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives, will vouch for her uncanny intuition in sussing out such things in this regard).
This is to her immense personal credit, that she has had the courage and tenacity to make a GREAT speech in our Parliament, revealing her hatred of misogynistic anything, and revealing Mr. Abbott' evil misogyny and complete scholastic and intellectual inadequacy to hold the post she now honors us in holding with such honor and integrity. We know you have a high regard for the quality of character of your scholarship winners, but we, Australian labor voters, are letting you know some real facts!
You may hearsome vague ruimors that there are some objections, but Mr. Abbott's lawyers have been rightfully foiled in their attempts to pursue defamation, as Ms. Gillard's speech was made within the walls of our Parliament House, and given with full approval of the then Deputy speaker of the House. Please do not be distracted by this little scheme of Abbott's and his shady supporters to gloss over his crimes.
Australia will be saved from this vilest of men. But only if you heed our urgent plea - to strip and dishonor this most unworthy of recipients of your hallowed Rhodes Scholarship.
We, the undersigned, hereby beg you to re-consider, and strip this most unworthy candidate of this completely misplaced an unearned, unwarranted honor. (And give it to his mate - that Labor bloke - whatever his name was - his "swot" mate at Oxford at the time."
