Chrysalis, your take on the inverted pentagram is narrow, almost pop culture. If you do some research you will understand it is also used by those who are forced to face one’s own evil or dark side in order to protect themselves from succumbing to it. As you can imagine, the Police often face the dark side of human nature!
Not that I believe this star form actually represents much at all.
