Well said Giddy - Yes its ALL about Monash...tick tock...but in the mean time, if you think Monash will eventually deliver, its worth glancing at some recent news...

    http://www.theaustralian.com.au/business/opinion/thermal-coal-comes-off-the-boil/story-fnciihm9-1226502690457

"Then there's water, vital to coal-fired power generation (not to mention washing coal mined locally). Water is used in 97 per cent of China's power generation - coal-fired and hydropower, as well as gas generation.

Water shortages are going to be a huge factor in China's power output. And there's a lot of competition for what water there is
    ."

    http://blogs.marketwatch.com/thetell/2012/11/02/water-shortages-in-china-potentially-a-perfect-storm/

"Water shortages could be China’s own version of the perfect storm, potentially blowing a hole in carefully laid plans of an incoming generation of leaders.

Targets for moderately fast economic development, seen as crucial for the Communist Party to maintain its grip on power, no longer seem so easy to achieve as China is running shy of the water needed to leverage up the electrical-power generation it requires to meet those targets."

"According to conservative estimates by the United Nations, Inner Mongolia is losing about 5,000 square kilometers (1,900 square miles) annually to the desert
    "

Inner Mongolia is where Chinas lignite is largely located where monsters like Datang/Shenhua are building clusters of water thirsty power stations. They are talking about building pipelines to pipe sea water 600km to IM and THEN desalinate it. Now thats keen/desperate.

You cant tell me these monsters and more wont be interested in peeking at the looming Coldry DFT?

    $84.20 - Australian thermal coal, 12000- btu/pound, less than 1% sulfur, 14% ash, FOB Newcastle/Port Kembla

    http://agmetalminer.com/2012/11/06/coking-coal-costs-have-not-fallen-in-line-with-prices/

"Wood Mackenzie estimates that 85 percent of Australian thermal coal projects are unviable at current spot prices, according to Reuters.

HSBC is expecting average prices of $96/ton in 2013 on the back of solid medium-term demand from Asian utilities
    ."

I reckon alot of discussion here has neglected the above scenarios. Sure Coldry has attractions - but at the end of the day it all comes down to the economics. Is it viable long term to Coldry lignite in the LV and value add for local coal to diesel etc/export?

The ALDP didnt happen on a whim. I still believe the Pilbara is largely predicated on Coldry..." beyond power generation" as Mr Ferguson put it.

Coldry "volatile retention" is the key imo.

Some posters dont like the MNM V ESI listed chatter/banter. Please look away in that case - however I find it hypocritical that these posters usually post little info YET have actually bought/sold on this "chatter".

Lets talk/chat BCE in a friendly/robust manner I say - at present there is only MNM/ESI.

A recently posted flyer stated - "up to $40m"... Exergen say from Govt funding apparently indicating the ALDP as the source. Since when can a coy state figures like that before the game has even begun? I wonder how the pollies view that sort of arrogance?

How come Exergen are only applying for ~1B tonnes of the possible 13B..?

Tells me there is a "sleeper" tech/coy(s) that is lurking. Exergen imo will be players but not THE player.

    ECT said a month ago:

"Assembling a consortium of companies, each with a lignite value-adding technology, to successfully tender for large coal allocations within the Latrobe Valley."

Could ECT and "friends" be a "sleeper"?...make no mistake...the evidence says there is a "sleeper(s)"...its not just Exergen as the cult would tell you.

All we hear from the BM crowd is that Exergen will be the king pins. Sure if Exergen upped it to say 5B I might agree...but that is not the case thus far. Read the flyer/disclaimer. I view BM as the back up project Exergen have to have. Remember the Claytons add?

Common sense tells me Exergen will shaft BM once the LV allocations are made firm. Duplicate infrastructure? They spent ~$500k on BM...so what. Fact is - if Exergen can PROVE they can utilize say 2B tonnes in the LV - the Govt will give it to them imo. No mining license/green worries etc...smooth sailing. Good night BM imo.

btw...BM sulphur ~3% we know (sulphur is a major nasty... the BM crew avoid objective discussion on this - usually met with "maybe this discount maybe that" - fact is sulphur is toxic to coal buyers and who knows what BM BCE "could" sell for)...anyone know the BM ash content? Volatile content?

Ash content is a MAJOR selling point for LV lignite. Significant point...BR/K?

Good chart this below re volatiles/sulphur/ash:

Mean while the ASX listed "dog" ESI flies under the radar

As we see EVERYWHERE - the potential for Coldry/Matmor is truly mind blowing. But realistically - how many microcaps ever make it into the big pond?

Almost none. There are ~1500 of them on the ASX.

btw...we have backed ECT Directors/Staff to the hilt...just because we have voted some Res down does not mean we dont support the coy obviously....sometimes constructive cricism is good for the collective good...yes?

Interesting year end coming...(beyond the AGM)

    tick tock...
