Sold down a decent chunk of my holding today at a big loss. Time to invest elsewhere, this one is going to take some time to recover..... even if they announce they have found gold!!!
Sadly, hoppy. you are 100% correct. It will take time to recover and the REALLY sad thing for friends of mine who have big holdings in this...they are going to be DILUTED in the process. For those of us that can - its way past the time to move on from DRG and find other fish to fry.
Unfortunately for a few here, 2012 has turned out to be a horrible, horrible year to be exposed to this stock. The destruction of wealth caused by a management team that had no idea whatsoever on how to manage a stock market listed business has been horrendous and financially costly for people who had a right to expect much better when DRG back listed into CEO.
Mark Earley and Andrew harrison may never recover their reputations from this one. My perception is that they were sorely lacking in the right expertise, and as 2012 unfolded, they just didn't get any better. I am appalled at just how badly this has turned out. I have a pretty high risk profile, but it has even surprised me how badly it has operated.
