re: who do these belong to? Gareth, re the Davenport one nothing is definite until a contract is signed, that is why Redflex only announce on a signed contract. Redflex so far have only been selected in Davenport for speed cameras and this challenge to their selection does not appear to have legs.
Nestor, in their purchase of the Transol bones, supposedly bought the Transol contracts which included the red light camera contract for Davenport. My take is that possibly Nestor are using Brown Bros, a local Davenport firm, as a front to try for the speed contract but as Nestor or Brown do not have an up to date intersection speed system it looks like a lot of hot air.
It's pretty certain that Davenport would have the right to cancel the Transol red light camera contract and refuse to allow Nestor to take it over, end result most likely will be Redflex eventually will get both. Redflex already have Council Bluffs nearby, that has performed very well and almost certainly influenced the Davenport decision in favour of Redflex.

With that Tasmanian article those are Poltech red light cameras, Redflex would not want a bar of trying to service them as they were junk right from the start. So it looks like they are scrap and the Tasmanian Govt is paying the price for originally believing the Poltech BS. The Tasmanian govt has recently purchased a number of Redflex speed cameras so hopefully the Redflex guys can convince them to spend a few more $s and buy some quality Redflex red light/speed camera combination systems.
