Gassed - I had a look at this a long time ago; but the valuation of 1000 cubic feet of gas (GJ) is $0.20 (this is from a broker report). So if you do the figures from here 25% of 600 Tcf (for both PEL218 and ATP 855) to get the recoverable gas we get 150 trillion cubic feet of recoverable gas; from the valuation of $0.20 per 1000 cubic feet;
This gives a final value of 30 billion; these are my calculations so they could be wrong, so do your own! The recoverable gas could also be a lot less. Any way gives an idea of how explosive the potential of shale gas could be if it is economic. Considering the Market Cap of Beach is only $1.7 billion approx at the moment...best of luck everyone!
