I do not worry about paying 15/20% above o/seas price to be able to purchase in a local store but to pay 150/200% more is not on.
To talk about GST and Australian jobs is garbage. All these items are imported from o/seas so the only Australia jobs are a few in the store
And these self same stores that are now complaining were the ones who would not buy from Australian manufacturers because they could make an enormous profit by buying o/seas.
So the worm is turned, the government and the retailers do not want Australia to have a manufacturing sector so why should I support greedy, money hungry retailers.
Treat the o/seas stores the same way you would treat a local store, if it does not give service and if it's shonky don't shop there
