Well if they give their consent then okay but I don't think those who have their money in a super fund would be given the opportunity to consent or reject.
How many times have we heard of some dodgy crowd losing members life savings.
A mate of mine who had his super halved in the GFC has handed his super over to some crowd to look after and they guaranteed that he would never lose his shares(?) and that he could make up to 10% return. Although they couldn't guarantee that they would maintain their value.
I told him he was crazy and all they were doing was shorting them and they could go bankrupt doing so...he didn't want to know.
