If its true that this statement was made by a member of senior management, LIN shareholders should be very concerned. Sure running the company is important but if you are running a ASX listed company you had better be concerned with managing the sp too. Obviously the sp determines the market cap and ofcourse is a vital mechanism in the most common method used by resource juniors to raise funds. It goes without saying the stronger the sp the more that can be raised with less dilution. Its an unavoidable fact if you are running a listed company you are running a sp, if not CR options are reduced and the company is run by those that control the sp.
