I think the current sp is due to the mums, dads and daytraders abandoning ship en-masse in a hurry from both ELD and ELDPA. That segment is not tolerant of suprises that don't have clear immediate benefit to them.
It remains to be seen as to what can be achieved in terms of a sale price for futuris and the rural business and major holders appear to calculate that the current sp is a temporary situation.
The real determinant of sales price will be financial performance and we are about to find out if 2012 full year was any good for automotive and rural or if it was average or terrible - that might be the catalyst for majors selling or if it meets guidance or better a rapid jump from current levels as the general market returns.
