It would not surprise me if some Chinese backed takeover was being considered, given that they tend to swoop when our goldies are stuffing up. Perhaps the mob that failed to takeover NMG will be having a good look at RED, although RED only has a small reserve/resource.
I remember reading that a Chinese company tried to take over MML for around $1.20/share but were unsuccessful.
Given how I feel at the moment, I would accept $2.10 just because I am sick of these stuff-ups. However, the institutions would probably want a bit more.
