Certainly those subjects are not stale, the majority have already made up their mind on them, so daily topical they are not (without massive new news)...even the media see's them as not day to day money making anymore...but the majority will still solidly vote via them, the psychology here cannot change no matter what the chattering class's daily thought bubble is...I know I will vote on them absolutely....for example the designer genocide at sea at labors hands is the most shocking scenario in my living Australian memory...and they still justify it too...only now with their round table silence on it...if they don't speak of it, it will go away....I know not, only day to day.
Abbott is speaking via the back of his brain, it's what capable humans do when they are talking to those that come of as idiots over and over and over again, it's a human behavioral sign of someone way above the current hopeless palaver...a grace if you will...seen also when a parent talks to their child, when teachers talk to their students, when good people talk to incessant never ending fools....how he can continue to put up with the dumbed down level of our media peoples questions I still remain astounded...the bloke is a saint.
The front of his brain remains quietly waiting for someone on the left side of politics and media to contest it intelligently on any issue....mine too actually.
