    What I would dearly like to see the results of, is a poll taken randomly on the street, divided evenly between young and old with the question;

    "Who would you put your trust in as the Prime Minister of Australia - Julia Gillard or Tony Abbott?"

    Not the half assed pollster questions that lean one way or the other and confuse, just a straight forward him or her.

    I bet I know what more than 60% of the answers would be, and don't reckon it would be Julia Gillard either!

    Gillard couldn't lie straight in bed, Abbott thinks before he speaks, he would rather compose an answer than look for an argument like many Labor MP's.
    The fact he hesitates is the sign of somebody who thinks before he speaks.

    The fact he was upfront and admitted that sometimes on the spur of the moment or in the heat of an argument some things may be said that may not be what was intended.
    No Labor MP would ever admit that half the froth coming out of their mouths you wouldn't take seriously!
    That said, he didn't mean "everything said", it meant occasionally an MP might "Gild the Lilly" as Keating was so very good at.

    Give me the smart intelligent people anyday, unfortunately they are extremely thin on the ground in the Labor camp.
