I heard from un named interested party that Sanchez tried to cut a few costs and that the well was not cased all the way which seems to fit in with the emerging facts, whereas Cyprus , on Bigham well cased all the way so we should not have that problem . Additionally, as each frac is cemented off from the rest of the hole when each is done, and given that they start at the deepest part of the hole with fractures, it seems unlikely that the more permeable "ash" is a caus ear problem with the v high volumes of fluid used in Bigham 1.
Recall strike said they would report now when the well was cleaned up. But given it is taking longer than anticipated and given markets hate uncertainty, maybe the company will give a bland interim update as they must be just as anxious as we are to get the well onto test mode ..
