    From another chat site.

On every ASX release that John Genner has put our the heading is "John Genner is pleased to announce"

The announcement today left out the word "pleased"

Apart from that and all these rumours running around we need to look at some fundamentals and not the hype.

They have been getting some very good security contracts lately and they seem to coming at a faster pace. It is a pity that BQT cannot tell us the net worth of a project but these are protected in the signed agreements.

It is nearly 3 months since the June 9th announcement and the remainder of the story is yet to be made public.

To date the rumours have been.

    Nexxussoft............ NOT involved
    Diebold................. NOT involved
    Citibank
    Merryl Lynch
    Visa
    Mastercard
    Barclays.

It would not suprise me if one of the above companies is somehow involved.

The amounts specified in the June 9th announcement was stated in British Pounds. That would have to state that it is a UK based entity. I suspect John Genner left the UK spin on things as to help us do some research in the right direction.

Here is my nitty gritty analysis on the state of the deal.

The deal is said to have implications on a Global basis so in that regard it has to be a Multi National conglomerate.

The only tie up that I can find in the above companies is one between Nexxussoft and Diebold.

    #....wrong

Diebold own Nexxussoft, Diebold is the largest manufacturer and software supplier of ATM machines.
Nexxussoft is a software company that develops software for the banking industry.

    ###..... wrong

If this is correct so far then we have a tie to Visa and Mastercard.

If that is correct we have a tie in with the Banks such as CitiBank, Merryls and Barclays.

The above is a very plausible scenario and I feel we are soon to find out.

There is one more factor that cements the first relationship for me and that is the shocked reaction I had from 2 people who should know what is happening. The stares they gave each other gave me the answer I was looking for. They never confirmed or denied the question but the looks on their faces was a strong signal that I was on the right track.

All of the above rumours have been collected via the internet from various Web sites and chat forums, it was just a matter of correlating the information and asking the right people for a comment.

Some more way out rumours are that they are tied to some some fund that has a Billion dollars in it to upgrade merchant and bank card security.

I am still digging for answers and if I find anything useful I will say so.

By the way Tricom was actively buying the stock today and they bid it up on close so tomorrow could still be a good day.

    ### Citibank were buyers today at 33c......and did NOT sell a share.

Outside...most of todays trading was basically traders.

    IMHO of course
