Hi eagle, I agree with you to a point.
The current system is rubbish, pointless even.
Perhaps a separate total each for positive and negative thumbs.
For example, I feel all my posts are incredibly witty and insightful.
Viewing the positive thumbs would bring a warm glow.
I could also pity for the negative thumbers for their lack of neurones.
