GENERAL: AIR: Air New Zealand maintains Virgin holding level
Air New Zealand advises that it has maintained continuous ownership of Virgin
Australia Holdings Ltd (VAH) at 19.99% following the issue of new VAH shares
to Singapore Airlines earlier today. The transaction occurred simultaneously
with the issue of new shares to Singapore Airlines and involved the purchase
of 49,139,707 VAH shares, equating to 2% of the issued capital of VAH. The
transaction was reported through a special crossing.
