I am the only one left in my immediate family, who sticks to tradition, with my favourite Christmas lunch....
it is exactly the same Christmas lunch menu my mother served.

Roast turkey, breast only, vegies, cranberry sauce,gravy followed by Trifle...all exactly the same way mum made it.

I have also introduced my version of tiramisu for the newer family members, and I find they want both the trifle and tiramisu.

My mother's baby sister, the only survivor in her family, has given way to her immediate family's demands, for a cold Christmas lunch. She does not mind, the family rules.

The only thing different I use today is the Ingham brand turkey breast from the frozen food section. I can rely on it to be tender and delicious every time.

Last year I got caught out, there was none left on the shelves, and I bought the thigh meat in desperation.
Yuk, it did not suit my taste buds at all.

I also make salad, my potato salad recipe for those not big on the vegie theme, tossed in home made mayo of course.
