One thing that constantly bugs me is WHY, given all the great and flattering things Musi and others have said, is AVB languishing at 10c when brokers "value" it at 17c or a bit better..... a discount to its copper-in-ground peers of 40%

WHY???

The answer is as slippery and elusive as the $40m. I need someone to BLAME! and there are no volunteers, or willing Directors. (have punished them enough recently).

Has the market stubbornly and simply got it wrong?

Copper in-ground has gone up tenfold in a year. Xstrata deal, vale deal, smelter deal. Absolutely brilliant Management.

Is the market too focussed on small stuff, like what is happening to TP's frequent flyer points (lots of them!) and misses the millions of tons of copper impatiently waiting for AVB to drill it.??

Maybe AVB is a bit like the unattractive girl nobody asks to dance..... until she kinda casually flashes her purse packed with money. Suddenly a very popular girl.

Perhaps AVB just need to talk $profit instead of boring tonnes of copper.?? $'s are understood.

Or is it perceived as a "going to" company, while ignoring the fact that it has come from nowhere and is a potential Melbourne Cup Winner.

Going to Mine

Going to find more copper beyond 600kt

Going to get $40m from Vale

Going to do a smelter deal.

Going to make a profit.

... maybe it is too "going to" and when when each of the above milestones is achieved, it will be rewarded with some nice big SP increase carrots?
