Luke212,
i think your statement is "simplistic".
The large selling volumes which drove the price down were interesting. Why ?? It was Either large number of short term buyers who were forced to clear their positions regardless of price/loss. OR Organised selling to drive the market price down and then allow volume buying at lower prices . The latter only makes sense to me , if the organised selling and then required buying were between related or "friendly" teams . As such the SELL created losses in one organisation and allowed for future profits in another. These strategies can be redone with same or other stocks to even out the "balances" and mutually share the buying of stocks at lower prices. You think this strategy does not occur , then you are simplistic.
As such the only game for us little folk , is to BUY at prices which are good value and THEN HOLD until the value does occur. The value will only be truelly realised when the STOCK becomes a dividend paying stock. An ongoing business. If you believe LYC will reach this milestone, then it is a bargain now.
