Only a convaluted fool could construe my comment to imply that I agree with you.
Arabs who openly behave as a citizen is required will and is entitled to all the benefits that Israelis enjoy. Israeli Arabs have identical papers to Jewish Israelis and can travel freely wherever they so wish.
Most do not want to leave their villages and are discouraged to assimilate particularly by their own elders.
The Bedouin Arabs join the Israeli army and are renowned for their bravery in the field. They have proven themselves as loyal subjects and are treated as such. More money is directed to their programs than to the Arabs who side with the Palestinians even though they are Israeli citizens. And even more $$$$$ should be and will be, but only to loyal citizens.
If life is so tough for them, (those whose allegiance is not with Israel) they are more than welcome to join their cousins over the border. Strangely, they don't wish to leave even though they can sell their properties at top rates.
Unlike Arab countries that will not allow their Jewish citizens(?) to leave despite their absolute hatred towards them and the fact that those who do manage to get exit visas, have all their property confiscated by the despotic regimes that they live under, Israel has no such policy.
If the grass is greener on the other side, from my perspective, any/all Arabs within Israel whether citizen or not has the right to leave, together with the proceeds of their sales.
Believe me, there are funds set aside and they are paid top dollar...............(Trouble is many Arabs who sell land to Israelis wind up, ..........dead)
But they stay!
Why would they want to stay in a shitty country that treats them like shit? (looking at it from an Arabs perspective).
By the way, does it bother you that Jews are kept as hostages in Arab countries? Mostly are elderly and are of no threat to anyone. Their productive lives are over.
Israel will gladly take them unlike other western countries who refuse older immigrants because they are "a burden to society".
Israel does not share that philosophy. Every Jew from infant to aged, from healthy to infirm regardless of colour........is welcomed with open arms.
The Israeli Arabs have got a harder life than Jewish, Christian or non-denominational Israelis..... undeniably.
It is, however self inflicted.
But they are astute enough to realize that they are 100, no, 1,000 times better off than Arabs in any other Arab country.
In a nutshell, the opportunity to leave is there for the taking.
Jews (in Arab countries) don't have that opportunity, and never did....
In the past even those who wanted to leave going back as far as pre WW2 couldn't. The Nazis went so far as rounding up Jews in foreign countries and importing them back to wherever they could be exterminated.
And there was no shortage of collaborators starting from the f******g French and ending with the neutral Swiss.
And the abominable British sent the ones who did manage to escape by ship to Palestine (as Israel was called then) back to the gas chambers. Wait a few more years till more archives are released. Not that it would make a difference to you and your ilk.
So as far as I am concerned, those who show loyalty to the State of Israel should get all the benefits of the state and those who don't well, f@#k them and anyone who supports them. Citizens or not.
