Hey Slammer, Agree fully regarding Mr. Locantro.
He will not post on HC though, it is against the rules and he takes that seriously.

He was briefly not-commited a few years ago, and wrote a post called the 8 elephants. - I recognised a rare voice and bought into all 8 companies. Went on to make about 80% very quickly - alas it was a different market then. We made over 3x on ADE, but it was bought out cheap by BTP.

I dont have the balls to commit to his plays in a big way anymore, but I still pay for his newsletter and enjoy his writing. - that said, my 2 largest holdings are Locantro under-dogs. He designs portfolios that can change your life, but to be heavy in specs over the last 2 years or so has been brutal. So I balance it with a few old man stocks from the Motley Fool these days.

Probably the 2 finest publications covering the ASX - perhaps I am not such a muppet after all.
