    Re your post which included;
    "... If Julia Gillard is indeed innocent of wrongdoing, she should stand in parliament next week and make a lengthy statement of her involvement ..."

    Thanks for the feedback! I've noted your opinions.

    Those opinions do NOT alter the reality. This is essentially a relentless media pursuit of Julia Gillard's refusal to repeatedly answer answer every question known to mankind in every forum possible surrounding her former boyfriend and allegations targeting his activities some 20 years ago.

    Gillard has a responsibility to respect proper processes by rejecting absolutely such trial by media. Unless her behaviour directly relates to the performance of her parliamentary duties Gillard should also absolutely reject trial by Parliament.

    For as everyone knows and as happened at that media conference a few weeks ago; even if Gillard did so it would make NO difference - the misogynistic witch hunters are baying for Gillard's blood and will apparently continue to do so throughout her life in politics.

    Of much greater importance and currency is how Clive Palmer's resignation from the Liberal Party and his comments about threats against him are being pushed aside.

    The questions that MUST be answered by the media therein is why they have chosen NOT to investigate further and NOT to report further about Palmer's resignation.
