I agree that the announcement is poorly worded, which is unusual for BRU.Clearly the pressure data and the cores still dont convince BRU that there is an oil column, hence the use of the word POTENTIAL column, or are they talking about the POTENTIAL size of a definite oil column ?
Either way it is clearly time that BRU did some serious testing of both oil and gas finds. This will convince the market that there are substantial recoverable reserves and it will allow McDaniels to to put a higher number in the proven category.
We could have ten more similar discoveries to Ungani or Paradise / Valhalla and the market wont get too excited until it sees some meaningful flow rates.
