Hi Smithy, yes, you're right regarding Kal.
Re "are we nearer the pin", I'd say yes, but not quite there yet. We certainly hit a thick layer of secondary, and have hopes for the diamond drilling to hit "the pin". Will it?
Dont know. That 43m of black stuff has me intigued.
A few deep dd holes should tell us what's what......if the rig can handle the ground. A couple of weeks' drilling and we'll be wiser all round (I hope). I certainly dont know what we're going to hit. Some bornite would be nice, Mike?

oscar, maybe Uganda is ok for tourism in selected areas, but the Dept of Foreign Affairs advice for certain areas varies from "Exercise a high degree of caution" to "do not travel".

The question is not really about personal safety of an individual so much as sovereign risk for long-term exploration/mining. Look at Indonesia....a company I own shares in took a position in a gold project up there just before Indonesia announced it would phase in a 51% Indonesian ownership of all mining projects over 10 years, and then shortly after introduced a 50% export tax (which doesnt apply to gold, but does to exported commodities.)
We wouldnt like that sort of thing happening to us, eh?
