yes I remember those days as back then I was invested in both Companies
In my view at the time the merger made sense and should have worked but the mismanagement of operations and financial control fell into a hole under Michaelmore as CEO
Even the external accountants signed off the accounts disclosing commitment to a current loan as non current LOL

Remember, relative to the value of its assets OZL was never overly geared and if it wasn't for the GFC panic the banking syndicate would have just rolled over the loans
