yes GFC was my worst experience. at one stage i was down 75% holding no cash. But recovered those losses and made 40%+ pa over the next two years.

This downturn is bordering on being just as bad.

My longs are currently down 40% yet i am 55% cash.

The more despair i read the more I think think the bottom might be close.

The seller on BND is driving the price down for their own gain.

Short the stock. Then sell longs to start the down leg, make money, and then buy them back.

New lows coming unfortunately.
