My point ,dear Olive , was that comparing the treaty of versailles and the Kaiser, is a far cry from the the Iraq situation, where i have no doubt , the majority woud like to sling Saddam from a meathook, nothing to do with the germans and meathooks, although it did become fashionable some 20 odd years later for plotters.
