IMO it will take less than 45 days. He is taking safety margin maybe of additional 2-3 weeks in the schedule. This is done all the time in engineering projects. If there is unexpected delay, he will still be able to finish in 45 days. If everything goes smoothly they could finish in 2 weeks. Imagine that!
