Lynas already announced that the first feed was about to happen. All the did was confirm that it happened.
That is, they told us what was about to happen, then told us that it happened. So yes, it was entirely expected! Now we wait to see if the processing proceeds as planned, and yes things could go wrong during the processing. But saying, we are about to do X, and then saying we've just done X - no surprises there.
