zzzz I am not surprised that New Orleans Times-Picayune, is trying to divert all responsibility for the poor preparation and handling of this man-made disaster away from their local politicians.
You might want to think a bit more carefully about who is manipulating who here.
After all, the local newspaper is just reporting the truth without fear or favour right? The local newspaper doesnt have any political stake or agenda in sidestepping the responsiibilty for this man-made disaster, and doesnt have any interest in keeping their hometown politicians clear of blame right?
I am not sure what fantasy world you have found yourself in, but my reality seems to be quite different to yours and quite easy to see.
