Giddy, I also note they appear to be deliberatly reducing the flow from this zone. The reduction in size from the frac tubing to the production tubing suggests they want to avoid drawing down too hard on this reservoir. A too high rate of draw done can compromise well integrity and can contribute further to sand/debris issues not to mention causing coning in the reservoir which can limit ultimate recovery.
An astute approach in my view.
I note also the early use of production tubing. Thats a positive indicator for production from this zone. Not guaranteed as such but another good tick in the box for the probability of success here.
