I think it's time for breathalising not only car drivers, but anyone on the streets, as this is where a lot of problems stem from, not only drunk drivers but alcohol driven violence, suicides and irrational behaviour.
Late night violence here in Dean Street,)and elsewhere) mainly around the local Pizza shop at around 3am.
Police should breathalise and test for drugs.
Anyone over the limit should be adequately penalised, ... not just confiscation of alcohol, but a proper penalty to slow the acceleration of alcohol use by especially younger ones.
How much crime and suicide has alcohol connected ?
No one should be walking around half pi..ed at any time in our society, IMO, ... IF anyone wants some of these problems reduced.
